I’ve always wanted to get into Rugby but some poor experiences of team sports in youth put me off participating.  I repeatedly parked the idea of trying it out until 2023 when curiosity got the better of me and I joined the Wasps.

The Westcountry Wasps is a space to learn in a safe and supportive environment without judgement and at my own pace.  We’re an inclusive club – we value everyone regardless of identity or ability – the only barriers are in our minds. 

I always played Tennis as my sporting outlet but it’s pretty lonely stood on that baseline alone. As I get to know the game more, build my skill and confidence, it’s great to know there’s a team of us together supporting and encouraging each other.
