I recently came out of a long term relationship and moved to Paignton, I was looking for a way to expand my social circle, make some new friends and improve my fitness. After meeting a couple of players through work, they explained how the Wasps are an inclusive team and welcome players of all abilities.

 

I’m 43 and I’ve never played rugby before, so was a bit worried about joining up, so I came to watch the wasps train, see how I got on. The team and coaching staff were friendly and made me feel so welcome. I have already made some great friends, learnt so much about rugby and am throughly enjoying being in the club both on and off the pitch.
